On June 25, the Mang Thit District Police Investigation Agency ( Vinh Long ) announced that the unit had just issued a decision to prosecute the case, prosecute the accused, and issue an order to temporarily detain Bui Van Vu (33 years old, residing in My An commune, Mang Thit district) to investigate the act of illegal possession of drugs.

According to police records, at around 10:50 a.m. on June 16, while working in Cai Ke hamlet, My Phuoc commune, Mang Thit district, Vu had an addiction attack so he went to buy drugs to use.
Vu rode his motorbike to a karaoke cafe in An Phuoc commune, Mang Thit district to buy drugs. There, a woman sold Vu 0.2885 grams of drugs for 200,000 VND.
Vu then hid the drugs in a medical mask and put it in his pocket. When Vu got in his car and left the shop, he was discovered and arrested by the police. At the police station, Vu admitted his crime.
The above case of illegal possession of drugs is being further investigated by Mang Thit District Police to be handled according to the provisions of law.
