LG's new generation of washing machines will be "empathetic assistants" with many smart features to help users simplify laundry and family care.
The ezDispense™ feature automatically dispenses detergent and fabric softener based on the weight of each load, optimizing costs, reducing waste and helping the environment.
In addition, LG Steam technology helps deep clean, reduce fine dust and allergens, providing maximum care for users.
LG AI DD 2.0 washing machine and dryer uses Inverter direct drive motor, which reduces noise, vibration, and ensures long-term durability. Thanks to optimized technology, the product saves up to 30% energy compared to the minimum energy standard of class A rating.
The LG AI DD 2.0 washer dryer generation has a minimalist flat design with a luxurious matte black color. A notable change is the integration of the control knob with an intuitive and purely Vietnamese LCD touch screen. This design also minimizes the parts on the control panel, making the product user-friendly and reducing the use of materials, making it safer for the environment.
Four new products include: 15kg (F2515RNTG) and 17kg (F2517RNTG) horizontal drum washer-dryers, and 15kg (F2515SNTG) and 17kg (F2517SNTG) horizontal drum washer-dryers. 15kg horizontal drum washer-dryer (F2515RNTG) costs VND 26,990,000; 17kg horizontal drum washer-dryer (F2517RNTG) costs VND 28,990,000; 15kg horizontal drum washer-dryer (F2515SNTG): VND 23,990,000, 17kg horizontal drum washer-dryer (F2517SNTG): VND 25,990,000.
In addition, although the washing drum capacity is expanded to wash or dry more clothes, the overall size of the machine has been reduced by LG, saving up to 125mm of installation space. Thanks to that, the product can be flexibly arranged, easily suitable for both small apartments and large spaces, from the kitchen to the loggia. With a variety of capacities, the washing machine is suitable for both modern young families and large families.
In 2024, LG will account for 24.6% of the market share in terms of value and 20% in terms of machine sales. In particular, in the horizontal drum washing machine segment, LG will reach 34.6% of the market share, up 2.8% over the previous year. As of the first quarter of 2025, LG will continue to lead the laundry market in Vietnam with 25.7% of the market share in terms of value, affirming the trust of users.
