According to recent updates from Korean media, BTS member J-Hope is set to be discharged from the military in two months due to his successful completion of his assigned duties.
On July 31, photos of J-Hope in military uniform were shared across online communities and X (formerly Twitter).
He is currently assigned as an instructor at the Baekho Recruit Training Center of the 36th Infantry Division.
Accordingly, J-Hope will soon be discharged from the military on October 17. With only two months left until the end of his service, he attended a recent rookie ceremony.
This is the last group of trainees that J-Hope will be guiding. An officer at the training center proudly said, "We have superstar J-Hope in our unit," emphasizing that this is the last group that J-Hope will be teaching before his discharge.
In the released videos , J-Hope bows to the families of these trainees. He smiles brightly and is friendly with the trainees. The male idol also assists the trainees with the procedures during the ceremony.
Last October, J-Hope was selected as an "Elite Soldier", attracting considerable public attention. When talking about his role as an instructor, J-Hope expressed, "The sense of accomplishment from this role is as meaningful as my activities with BTS."
