On the afternoon of August 26, Vietnam Television announced the broadcast schedule, the process of live broadcasting and sharing on social networks the ceremony, parade, and march to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution and National Day, September 2.
Vietnam Television will broadcast live from 6am to 9:15am on September 2 on VTV1. Domestic press agencies will take the initiative to broadcast according to specific content. Accordingly, from 6am to 6:25am is the atmosphere before the Anniversary Ceremony, parade, march and information about some past parades and marches. From 6:25am to 8:45am is expected to be the Anniversary Ceremony, parade, march. From 8:45am to 9:15am is the atmosphere after the Anniversary Ceremony and behind the scenes of practice and preparation.


Vietnam Television also said it does not provide live signals for domestic and foreign agencies, organizations and individuals to broadcast live on social networks. However, agencies, organizations and individuals can share and get signals from VTV's social networking system to post on their social networking accounts.
The parade on the morning of September 2 was held on a national scale, with the participation of about 30,000 people (not including the parade force) and armed forces and the masses.
In order to meet the needs of the public and tourists to watch the Anniversary Ceremony, parade, and procession live, Hanoi installed 22 large screens at 18 key locations in the capital.
The screen system helps people conveniently access important events, while reducing the pressure of crowds at Ba Dinh Square, contributing to ensuring security, order and traffic safety.
In addition to 22 newly installed screens, the city mobilized 136 existing LED screens at public places, schools, agencies, stadiums, and 127 socialized screens to broadcast, serving propaganda and visual encouragement for the series of activities to celebrate the big holiday.
