Phu Ly City Labor Federation launches Workers' Month 2025

On the morning of April 28, the Phu Ly City Labor Federation (LF) held a ceremony to launch the Workers' Month, responding to the Month of Action on Occupational Safety and Hygiene (OSH) in 2025.

At the ceremony, the leaders of the City Labor Federation launched the Workers' Month 2025 with the theme "Vietnamese workers pioneering into a new era" and the Month of Action on Occupational Safety and Health with the theme "Strengthening assessment, identifying hazards and risks and proactively implementing measures to ensure occupational safety and health at the workplace".

Representatives of Phu Ly City People's Committee presented certificates of merit from the City Labor Federation to outstanding workers.

Accordingly, it is recommended that grassroots trade unions thoroughly disseminate and implement specific response activities, suitable to the actual situation of localities, units and enterprises. Organize timely visits and encouragement to workers facing difficulties due to job loss or work stoppage; especially female workers who are pregnant, raising young children, workers who are sick, ill, or have work-related accidents, etc. Coordinate well in implementing the Grassroots Democracy Regulations at the workplace; promote the development, negotiation, signing of new and supplementary collective labor agreements, and include the content of improving the quality of shift meals in collective labor agreements.

Representatives of the provincial Labor Federation gave gifts to encourage workers in difficult circumstances.

Organize a variety of cultural, artistic, physical education, sports , competitions, and performances to create a joyful and exciting atmosphere for workers, civil servants, and laborers. Actively coordinate with employers to organize propaganda activities, mobilize union members and laborers to study and improve their skills; cultivate courage, innovate working style, improve integration skills; encourage union members and laborers to innovate, have many initiatives, improve techniques, contributing to increasing productivity and labor efficiency. Honor and commend workers with achievements in labor and production, many initiatives, creativity, and high achievements in skilled worker competitions... Continue to implement welfare programs for union members and laborers with the motto "Each grassroots union organizes at least one activity to care for the interests of union members and laborers during Workers' Month".

On this occasion, the Phu Ly City Labor Federation commended and awarded certificates of merit to 43 workers with outstanding achievements in labor and production in 2025; presented 62 gifts to workers in difficult circumstances, worth 500,000 VND each.
