According to AP yesterday citing a report from this organization, many people have used AI to paste real people's faces into nude photos or videos , even designing fake faces themselves, to create pornographic "works".

If left unchecked, billions of fake images could make it difficult for investigators to rescue children who are truly at risk. Malicious actors could also use the images to sell to third parties or blackmail victims.

According to Euronews , most AI-generated child sexual abuse imagery is illegal under current law in the US and UK, but it is unclear whether law enforcement has the tools to stop it.
