Like Mr. Thoi's family, in April 2025, many electricity customers in the province had their electricity bills increase by 300,000 to 500,000 VND compared to March 2025, the main reason being that families used many electrical appliances.

According to statistics from Lang Son Electricity Company, the electricity load capacity in April 2025 increased by nearly 10% compared to the previous month. And in the context of increasingly hot weather, the electricity load capacity in the coming time is forecasted to increase even higher.

Mr. Tran Xuan Quang, Head of Business Department, Lang Son Electricity Company said: To reduce the power load capacity, ensure stable power supply, in parallel with implementing technical solutions to improve the operation of the power grid, from the beginning of 2025 until now, the company has coordinated with press agencies and authorities at all levels to focus on promoting electricity saving propaganda to each household. At the same time, the company sent messages to more than 265 thousand electricity customers through social networks such as Zalo to propagate, mobilize customers to use electricity economically and advise on some solutions for safe electricity use.

Ms. Hoang Thi Hoa (Hong Phong commune, Cao Loc district) shared: In April 2025, due to the recent hot weather, the family often used air conditioning, so the family's electricity bill increased by more than 400 thousand VND compared to March 2025. With the propaganda and guidance of Lang Son City Electricity staff on solutions to use electricity economically and effectively, the family has actively applied them, focusing on reducing the use of air conditioning, refrigeration and large power consuming devices during peak hours.
