The group's EBITDA reached VND4,003 billion, up 22% year-on-year thanks to stable profit growth in the consumer-retail segment and the strategy of reducing ownership in non-core segments. In particular, after-tax profit after allocation to minority shareholders reached VND394 billion, up 278.8% year-on-year. This result came from sustainable profit growth in the consumer-retail segment and contribution from strategic divestment from HCS, despite a slight increase in net financial expenses. The outstanding results from the end of 2024 to present continue to strengthen the leadership's confidence in the transformation and long-term growth strategy of the consumer-retail platform.

In the group's Q1/2025 business results, Masan Consumer Company achieved revenue of VND 7,489 billion, up 13.8% over the same period; Operating profit reached VND 1,736 billion, up 13.8% over the same period. Similarly, WinCommerce Company achieved revenue of VND 8,785 billion, up 10.4% over the same period; profit allocated to minority shareholders reached VND 58 billion, up VND 132 billion thanks to growth in stores, network expansion and increased number of shoppers. Another member, Masan MEATLife, achieved revenue of VND 2,070 billion, up 20.4% over the same period; profit allocated to minority shareholders reached VND 116 billion, up VND 163 billion thanks to favorable pork prices, increased pork value and optimized processed meat structure. Masan expects the direct impact of US tariffs to be insignificant on the company’s operations as this market contributes less than 1% of Masan Consumer’s revenue and Masan High-Tech Materials’ core products are currently not subject to tariffs. The Group is closely monitoring developments and proactively implementing a flexible pricing strategy and appropriate product portfolio structure to minimize any impact on consumer sentiment.
