Accordingly, the department has deployed forces on duty, increased patrols and controls on provincial, district and rural roads to ensure traffic order and safety for people to travel conveniently and safely during the holidays. On this occasion, the traffic police force focused on checking violations of road transport activities, such as: carrying more people than the prescribed number; carrying overloaded vehicles, exceeding the size limit; violating alcohol concentration; stopping, parking, picking up and dropping off passengers in the wrong place; weaving, swerving, illegal racing, etc.
Especially on railway routes, the traffic police force proactively coordinates with the railway industry to organize inspections and handle violations that cause railway traffic insecurity; increase patrols and inspections to detect and prevent acts of encroachment on railway traffic safety corridors and illegal opening of level crossings, ensuring train safety; strengthen monitoring and warnings at railway-road intersections, especially in areas with high risk of insecurity; maintain communication between functional units and passenger stations to promptly handle arising situations; support and guide passengers participating in the "Unification Train" event to ensure no congestion or impact on other transport activities...
On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day, Vietnam Railways Corporation organized the operation of a pair of trains named “Reunification Train” with the aim of promoting national pride, solidarity, creativity and innovation of Vietnamese enterprises. The train was decorated with images, logos, promotional products of enterprises associated with the joy of Reunification, along with many attractive promotional programs to show gratitude to those who contributed to the revolution and their families.
