Five police dogs from the police dog team of Border Guard Intermediate School 24 were brought to the scene in Lang Nu village (Bao Yen district, Lao Cai ) to assist in searching for the victim.
Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Trung Kien, Head of the Border Guard Dog Team, said that the rescue at Lang Nu faced many challenges such as rocks, thick mud, piled up trees and scattered animal carcasses, but the dogs still did their job well.
As of September 12, 50 people from Lang Nu village are still missing. The search will continue today.
