The producer of "Flip Side 6" said that the film will start showing in Australia and New Zealand from July 20. However, the ticket sales schedule for early screenings will be open from 7:00 a.m. (local time) on July 6. Surprisingly, all tickets have been sold out in the theater system showing the film.
"I would like to send my sincere thanks to all the audiences who have loved and supported the film. This wonderful record is beyond expectations. Therefore, from the bottom of my heart, I would like to thank you all very much" - director Ly Hai shared.
Ly Hai thanks the audience for their support
All early screenings are sold out.
"Flip Side 6: The Fateful Ticket" was released to Vietnamese audiences on the occasion of April 30 and May 1. The film received support from the audience and grossed over 270 billion VND (according to statistics from Box Office Vietnam).
Before its release in Australia and New Zealand, the film had been "bombarding" the US market for more than 3 weeks and received support from many overseas Vietnamese there. In addition, the film also received support from international friends when foreign audiences spent money to buy tickets and go to the cinema to watch the film.
Ly Hai said that the fact that an international audience spent money to buy tickets and go to the cinema to watch the movie "Lat mat 6" made him and his crew extremely happy. "Vietnamese films have almost no place in the international market. Hanging a poster of a Vietnamese film in a foreign cinema complex for international audiences to buy tickets to watch is very rare and very difficult. So when the film is supported by international audiences, it makes me and my crew very happy and honored" - Ly Hai confided.
The film was well received in Vietnam.
Revenue exceeded 270 billion VND
Ly Hai also hopes that overseas Vietnamese will join hands to help build a bridge: invite their international friends - those who were not born in Vietnam, to go to the cinema to watch and experience Vietnamese films to see what they are like, what Vietnamese culture is like... "If they feel interested, they will have a relationship and the next time there are more Vietnamese films, they will have sympathy and will proactively buy tickets to watch them" - Ly Hai hopes.
Ly Hai said that thanks to the "Flip Side" brand being known and trusted by everyone, "Flip Side 6" was released in theaters in Australia and New Zealand quite smoothly. He and his crew also expressed hope that the film will soon reach a large audience in the Southeast Asian region.
