Tennis player Ly Hoang Nam and singer Giang Hong Ngoc won the mixed doubles championship of the 'Southern Love' pickleball tournament. The tournament aimed to raise funds to support flood victims in the Central region.

The 'Southern Love' pickleball tournament has just ended successfully at Metropole Stadium (HCMC). The tournament had the participation of many famous athletes such as Ly Hoang Nam, Le Quoc Khanh, Le Xuan Duc, artists such as musician Huy Tuan, musician Luu Thien Huong, singer Giang Hong Ngoc, singer Hoang Bach... businessmen and guests.

The athletes participating in the tournament contributed to the matches in a spirit of fun exchange, full of laughter and also had beautiful shots. The results of the competition were not surprising when tennis player Ly Hoang Nam stood with singer Giang Hong Ngoc to win the championship cup in the mixed doubles category while Le Xuan Duc stood with musician Luu Thien Huong to finish second. In the men's doubles category, the championship title belonged to Nguyen Thanh Phong/Vu Quang Dung while the pair Anh Bin/Thanh Phong finished second.

Ly Hoang Nam shared emotionally: "Nam had a very happy day because he got to interact with his dear brothers and sisters. More importantly, with the main purpose of supporting the people of the Central region, Nam himself, as an athlete, also wants to contribute a little to the people of the Central region. We are very lucky here because there are no floods or landslides, but the people in the Central region are in a very difficult situation and need sharing."

With the spirit of turning to the beloved Central region, Ly Hoang Nam and young Vietnamese pickleball talent Le Xuan Duc made a meaningful gesture by donating 50 million VND, the entire prize money they won at the recent tournament in Hanoi , to accompany the program. Tennis player Le Xuan Duc confided: "I hope the people of the Central region will soon overcome this difficult time and stabilize their lives."

Mr. Nguyen Xuan Van, Head of the Organizing Committee of the 'Southern Love' pickleball tournament, said that with everyone's positive response, the total amount of donations was 540 million VND and will be transferred directly to the Fatherland Front Committee to promptly support people in the Central region to overcome the consequences of natural disasters.
