The yogurt is... too sour!?

(Baohatinh.vn) - The refreshing taste of the iced yogurt drink that was posted online that day is now just a memory, but the lingering, slightly sour and mostly astringent aftertaste remains and subtly permeates Ha Tinh.

A customer recently posted online a bill for drinks at a luxury hotel in the famous coastal tourist area of Ha Tinh province. The bill included a "smoothie with yogurt" priced at 70,000 VND. This immediately sparked controversy and raised concerns about potential damage to the tourism industry.

Indeed! In Ha Tinh province, judging solely by intuition, a glass of blended yogurt costing 70,000 VND sounds quite unbelievable. Therefore, as soon as Facebook users, including those from Nghe An and Hanoi , posted about it, many commented freely. They criticized everything! Of course, they criticized the price. Some even meticulously calculated the ingredients of each glass of yogurt… Truly detailed and thorough!

Many likes do not necessarily mean increased empathy (Illustrative image).

Conversely, many more level-headed individuals analyzed the aspects of a glass of blended yogurt drink, where the price of the service is determined solely by the view. A large group then reported on the rather exorbitant prices of services at popular tourist destinations in Da Lat, Ho Chi Minh City, Tam Dao, and even in Ha Tinh City, where a cup of coffee can cost 50,000 VND… And naturally, they were not sympathetic to posting invoices online that were difficult to verify. For them, especially in the tourism sector, buying a product means buying a service, not simply buying raw materials.

The two extremes of "criticism" and "moderation" coexisted for quite some time! Then, everything went silent. Right or wrong, no one knows. Win or lose, of course, it doesn't belong to anyone. One thing is certain: the losses were felt by many sides. The person who posted the picture online received a barrage of criticism; the service provider also suffered a sudden shock.

More profoundly, as the grievances of the stakeholders gradually subsided, a profound sadness remained at the sea—or rather, it occupied the hearts of those who invested in the tourism industry! From a glass of iced yogurt, some were quick to criticize the price of accommodation services, expressing concerns about certain things even though booking a room was a matter of "necessary purchase and sale." Guests come and go, experiences become knowledge. Those who travel frequently understand and are tolerant. Those who travel less often lack understanding.

In every conflict, the battlefield is always scarred by the wounds left behind by both sides. What fault does the sea have? The sea in Ha Tinh in general, and that idyllic beach in particular, remains remarkably beautiful and doesn't deserve the sorrow inflicted upon those who benefit from it!

The tourism industry in Ha Tinh province is constantly investing and eagerly anticipating a resurgence in coastal tourism. Especially as the heat intensifies, all levels of government, relevant agencies, and tourism workers remain confident in the well-deserved success of the vast ocean. The sea represents boundless generosity and generosity. We urge tourists and investors not to let a lack of mutual understanding harm the tourism industry. Problems should be addressed where they arise; only those directly involved can resolve them effectively and fairly. We cannot expect the community to "resolve" difficulties, especially when both sides have not yet sat down together.

The refreshing taste of that cup of yogurt now only remains in my imagination; only the lingering aftertaste of slight sourness and strong bitterness remains, faintly present. Clearly, one shouldn't dwell too much on an emotion that isn't necessarily true!
