Man United and Tottenham: Midweek final, weekend 'give up' in Premier League

Tottenham beat Bodo/Glimt in the semi-finals to reach the Europa League final in midweek. Similarly, Man United beat Athletic Bilbao in the semi-finals to meet Tottenham in the final.

But when they returned to the Premier League, both teams showed their usual lackluster performances. At home, Man United lost 0-2 to West Ham. Tomáš Souček (26th minute) and Jarrod Bowen (57th minute) were the goalscorers for West Ham.

This is the 17th defeat of the "Red Devils" this season. It seems that after securing their place in the Premier League, Man United has given up on the Premier League. All Man United can think about now is the Europa League final, where they will qualify for the Champions League if they win the championship.
