Carrying drugs, caught before using

Subject Duy and evidence seized at the Ward Police Station

At around 9:30 a.m. the same day, My Binh Ward Police patrolled the Nguyen Trung Truc Bridge area and discovered that Duy was showing signs of suspected illegal drug use, so they signaled to stop the vehicle for inspection. The authorities discovered a transparent nylon bag about 1.5 meters from Duy on the embankment, inside were 5 sealed plastic straws containing a white powder, suspected to be drugs.

After a quick investigation, Duy admitted that the evidence was heroin, bought from a woman in Vinh My ward (Chau Doc city) for use. Seeing the police force, Duy took the drugs from his pocket and threw them down the embankment.
