The McLaren P1 is one of three cars in the "Holy Trinity" of supercars of the early 2010s such as the Ferrari LaFerrari and Porsche 918 Spyder.
2-3944.png
The powerful P1 is the spiritual successor to the legendary F1 and one of the first hybrid supercars, adding an extra 177 horsepower to the 737 horsepower and 720 Nm of torque from its 3.8-liter twin-turbo V8 engine.
3-7771.png
A total of 375 McLaren P1s were produced, not counting the track version. The rarest of these is the P1 Carbon Series, of which only 5 were produced worldwide .

After many years of hiding, the McLaren P1 Carbon Series has recently been offered for sale in Dubai, UAE for about 3.1 million USD, equivalent to 80.3 billion VND. The P1 Carbon Series is a special edition with a limited quantity, each car is made based on a P1 that already has an owner and the owner returns the car to the factory.

McLaren was expected to produce 20 P1 Carbon Series cars, but only 5 cars were produced. McLaren Special Operations (MSO) took on the task of upgrading the tuning package and bodykit for the P1.

While all P1 cars feature a carbon fiber body and chassis, the Carbon Series version takes things a step further with exposed carbon fiber on the outside.

Exposed carbon fiber is more difficult to mass produce than painted parts, as it requires not only structural perfection but also aesthetic perfection. The new part costs $200,000, and McLaren has already delivered at least one in five with the color coating.

The car introduced in Geneva in 2016 is Lio Blue. The P1 Carbon Series is equipped with standard 10-spoke wheels, measuring 19 inches at the front and 20 inches at the rear. The rims, brake calipers and some exterior details are painted red.

The P1 Carbon Series logo appears on the sides of the car and below the rear wing. Other MSO upgrades to the P1 Carbon Series include gloss black wheels and 24-karat gold heat shields similar to the F1. The interior is covered in carbon black Alcantara with blue contrast stitching.

What makes this car special isn’t just the combined output of 916 horsepower and 900 Nm of torque, or the ability to accelerate from 0-62 mph in 2.8 seconds, or the top speed of over 200 mph. Nor is it the fact that it’s one of only five Carbon Series cars, but the odometer reading of 54 miles (86.9 km).

The car was brought into the factory for an upgrade in 2016 and has been on sale since 2011, with an amazing 86.9 km on the odometer. Although the P1 is considered the best performance supercar ever made, with that odometer, for the owner it is a work of art.

Although the car is not road-going, it has received some upgrades. A few years ago, McLaren announced a second generation high-performance battery for the P1. The new battery pack weighs 124 pounds (56.25 kg) less than the original 234-pound (106.14 kg) battery, resulting in better handling and acceleration.

The upgraded battery pack improved acceleration, cutting 0.4 seconds off a 0-180 mph (0-299 km/h) time of 16.5 seconds, and power output remained unchanged. The new battery pack has a lower capacity, reducing pure electric range from 7.5 miles (12.07 km) to 1.9 miles (3 km).

The price of the new battery pack is 156,700 USD (4.02 billion VND), comes with a 6-year warranty. The almost unused British supercar is being offered in Dubai for 11,499,995 AED, equivalent to 3.1 million USD (80.3 billion VND).
