Elderly mother-in-law beaten and injured by daughter-in-law

On August 18, a leader of the People's Committee of Nguyen Viet Khai Commune, Phu Tan District ( Ca Mau ) confirmed that an incident had just occurred in the commune in which a daughter-in-law beat her mother-in-law, causing injury.

Initial information, on August 14, Nguyen Viet Khai Commune Police received a report that Ms. Le Thi Sanh (69 years old, residing in Tan Quang A hamlet, Nguyen Viet Khai commune) was beaten by her daughter-in-law, LTCL (38 years old), causing bruises on her face and right eye.

Mrs. Sanh cried and told about being beaten by her daughter-in-law.

Working with the authorities, Ms. L. admitted to beating and injuring her mother-in-law and pledged not to repeat the offense.

Nguyen Viet Khai Commune Police have completed the documents and submitted them to the Chairman of Phu Tan District People's Committee to issue a decision to administratively fine Ms. L., with a fine of 7.5 million VND.

In recent days, a YouTube account posted a clip longer than 15 minutes long recording Ms. Sanh talking about being beaten by her daughter-in-law.

According to the clip, Mrs. Sanh said she advised her daughter-in-law not to smash dishes while drinking and not to answer the phone late at night, which would affect the family. Since then, she has been beaten by her daughter-in-law.
