Messi scores historic goal, Argentina defeats African team

Last night, Argentina had a friendly match with Angola at 11 de Novembro Stadium (Angola). This was a special match to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Angola's National Day, so the organizers only sold tickets at the "friendly" price of 1 USD.

Messi started the match with the enthusiastic cheers from more than 50,000 Angolan fans in the stands. The 38-year-old striker played brilliantly, contributing 1 goal and 1 assist to help Argentina win 2-0.

Notably, although this was Messi's 895th career goal, it was the first time he had scored against an opponent in a match taking place in Africa. In the past, Messi attended the 2010 World Cup in South Africa but did not score a single goal.
