Free admission to museums and monuments on April 30 and May 1

People of all ethnic groups in Dien Bien province are exempted from 100% of entrance fees at the Dien Bien Phu Historical Victory Museum.

Accordingly, visitors who are ethnic people in Dien Bien province when visiting the Dien Bien Phu Historical Victory Museum and special national historical sites of Dien Bien Phu Battlefield, such as: A1 Hill Relic, Dien Bien Phu Base Group Command Bunker (De Castries Bunker), Dien Bien Phu Campaign Command Headquarters in Muong Phang... are 100% exempted from entrance fees.

For out-of-town visitors, 100% free admission for veterans; disabled people, and people under 18 years old. For seniors (60 years old and above), there will be a 50% discount on admission.

During the April 30 - May 1 holiday, A1 hill relic welcomes thousands of visitors every day.

To facilitate the flow of visitors, the Dien Bien Phu Historical Victory Museum and the Dien Bien Provincial Relic Management Board recommend that visitors bring their citizen identification cards when visiting the relic sites; veterans should bring their veteran cards.

The above free admission is implemented by the Dien Bien Phu Historical Victory Museum and the Dien Bien Provincial Relic Management Board on holidays and Tet every year. Thereby, contributing to creating favorable conditions for people and tourists to visit, enhancing promotion and developing the value of relic sites associated with tourism development.
