Minh Hang returns after 7 years, ST Son Thach releases wedding music

Rock band Da Ma (Yama) consists of many famous rockers performing at the famous Whisky a Go Go stage. Singer ST Son Thach released a gentle and cute wedding music video.

Minh Hang has just officially released the song Director, marking her return to V-pop after 7 years. The dance song was composed and produced by DTAP group, inspired by the image of the female artist in her life and career.

Minh Hang compares life to a movie, where she is the director who writes the script and decides how to tell the story. After 7 years, the changes of having a family and children have had a profound impact on her life. Director not only evokes the journey of being an actress and filmmaker, but also carries the meaning of the ability to master one's life.

The MV was shot with cinematic angles, spectacular special effects and beautiful choreography. The highlight is the seductive dance on the white sand with difficult moves such as leg splits, crawling, and sand throwing. Three guests Dong Anh Quynh, Tin Nguyen and Khiet Dan appeared as contestants in a fictional audition.

Minh Hang revealed that Director is just the opening of a series of projects including an EP in progress.

HIEUTHUHAI confirmed to attend GENfest

HIEUTHUHAI is the last artist announced to participate in GENfest Presents Mbillion with a 45-minute set. This is the third consecutive time he has participated in GENfest after two seasons 2023-2024 with the album Ai nang phai bat bo tu dau doi and hits with the group GERDNANG.

Mbillion is an extended version of GENfest, keeping the characteristic color of creating stages not only for singing but also for storytelling. After B Ray, JSOL, Low G, Phap Kieu and RHYDER, HIEUTHUHAI is the last artist to participate, turning each mini concert into a unique musical universe.

The Mbillion stage is directed by General Director Duong Mai Viet Anh, the person behind Duc Phuc's performance at Intervision 2025.

Da Ma caught Trapt's eye

The band Da Ma recently performed at Whisky a Go Go (California, USA) - the stage known as " The World's Rock Cathedral" - as guest artists on the tour of the famous rock band Trapt.

Trapt were formed in the late 1990s and made a global splash with the song "Headstrong" from their debut album released in 2002. The album was certified platinum in the US, making Trapt a leading name in the post-grunge and alternative rock wave of the early 2000s.

Receiving the invitation from Trapt band, the representative of Da Ma band was happy and proud. The members discussed how to bring Vietnamese culture to the stage which is considered the cradle of modern American rock music.

During the show, the 6 members of Da Ma unanimously wore ao dai, played modern rock combined with Vietnamese folk sounds, and were unexpectedly warmly received by the local audience.

Leader of Da Ma - singer Hung BlackhearteD said: "We are very honored to bring 100% Vietnamese culture to a 'legendary' rock stage. The Da Ma band consists of 6 famous rockers: leader, vocalist - Hung BlackhearteD, guitar - Cao Minh, guitar - Tran An Nguyen, bass - Quoc Hung, keyboard - Hoang Pio and drum - Tony Nguyen. Among them, Tran An Nguyen is of interest because he is the son of guitarist Tran Tuan Hung, a member of the Buc Tuong band.

ST Son Thach sings wedding music

ST Son Thach just released the MV "This Sky Has You" - a romantic, gentle love song, a boy's confession to the girl he loves.

Initially, he intended to give the product as a blessing to his close sister Che Nguyen Quynh Chau on her big day.

However, 2 days before Quynh Chau - Ngoc Phat's wedding, the male singer suddenly had health problems and had to be hospitalized; he could only ask the doctor to discharge him 3 hours to attend the wedding.

ST Son Thach filmed the MV like a film to preserve the beautiful memories of his junior and his wife.

Sharing more about the new song, he said: "When choosing songs for a big project, I accidentally received a draft of the song "This Sky Has You" and loved it the first time I heard it because of the feeling of happiness that filled every word and note."
