With priority in traffic flow and early customs clearance support, most of the vehicles carrying lychees from the provinces to Lao Cai are cleared through customs in the morning through Kim Thanh International Road Border Gate No. II (Kim Thanh Border Gate).

According to statistics from the authorities, in recent days, Lao Cai International Border Gate Customs has cleared about 60-70 trucks of lychee for export each day. Since the beginning of the season, nearly 8,000 tons of fresh lychee have been exported to China, with a value of over 4.5 million USD.

It is known that major lychee growing regions in the country have had a good harvest this year and are in the main season. It is expected that about 60 - 70 thousand tons of fresh lychee will be exported through Lao Cai border gate.

Therefore, to facilitate the smooth and quick export of fresh lychees, the authorities at Kim Thanh Border Gate have arranged a separate lane for vehicles carrying exported lychees and given priority and support for customs clearance procedures very early; proactively contacted the authorities in Hekou (China) to create the most favorable conditions in the early morning to improve Vietnam's fresh lychee import capacity.
