The content that voters in many districts recommended was that Kien Giang province soon resolve the issue of patients participating in health insurance having to buy medicine outside when coming to district-level medical centers for treatment.

The People's Committee of Kien Giang province responded that the main reason for the local shortage of drugs and medical supplies is that organizing bidding and centralized procurement takes a lot of time (partly due to the complicated procurement bidding process, many and frequently changing guidance documents); building demand or forecasting the procurement situation is sometimes inappropriate, not proactively reserving drugs; limited supply. Currently, the Provincial Party Committee and the People's Committee of Kien Giang province have issued many documents directing to speed up progress and remove difficulties in purchasing drugs, medical supplies.

Voters suggested that there should be a wide announcement to inform people about the list of drugs covered by health insurance. If they buy drugs in the insurance list, when they are discharged from the hospital, they should request the medical center to reimburse the patient, because after being discharged from the hospital, the patient must sign the prescription for treatment so that the hospital can settle the payment with the social insurance sector. The People's Committee of Kien Giang province responded that currently, the use of health insurance drugs is implemented according to Circular No. 20/2022/TT-BYT, dated December 31, 2022 of the Ministry of Health . The People's Committee of Kien Giang province will direct the Department of Health of Kien Giang province to direct medical examination and treatment facilities to publicly post the above list.

The report of the People's Committee of Kien Giang province also stated that some departments and branches did not respond clearly, were general, and did not focus on the voters' recommendations. Some contents of voters' recommendations lasted for many sessions, such as the lack of health insurance drugs, the settlement of support for F0 and F1 infected with COVID-19, the settlement of health insurance for patients receiving radiotherapy at Kien Giang Provincial Oncology Hospital; the marking of forest land in Kien Luong district (Kien Giang) and other localities as a basis for granting certificates to people according to regulations...

Standing Member, Head of the Legal Committee of Kien Giang Provincial People's Council Pham Van Mau concluded the meeting.

At the meeting, delegates requested departments and branches to clarify further the settlement of voters' opinions on building memorial steles for communes and towns recognized as safe zones; to soon complete the multi-purpose gymnasium phase 2 of Kien Hai district; to resolve the issue of naturalization and citizen identification for households migrating from Cambodia to live in Vietnam to buy health insurance and participate in other social activities...

Concluding the meeting, Standing Member, Head of the Legal Committee of the Kien Giang Provincial People's Council Pham Van Mau assessed that the opinions and recommendations of voters were mainly about essential and urgent needs for people's lives. In general, the work of resolving opinions and recommendations of voters has been paid attention to and actively directed by the People's Committee of Kien Giang Province, departments, branches and localities. It is requested that departments and branches supplement and clarify the content of handling acts of exploitation with explosives and electric shocks to destroy fishing grounds; the building of ships to Tho Chau, Phu Quoc City (Kien Giang)...
