(Dan Tri Newspaper) - According to the publicly disclosed income of Pham Ngoc Thach University of Medicine, among the Board of Directors, the Vice Rector in charge of the school has the highest actual income, which is less than 26 million VND.

Pham Ngoc Thach University of Medicine, Ho Chi Minh City, has just publicly released the August income details of more than 900 faculty members, lecturers, and staff on the university's official website.

Each individual's total income includes salary, allowances, and any additional or retroactive income, if applicable.

According to this list, the net income of staff at this university ranges from nearly 2 million VND to a maximum of nearly 30 million VND. The largest number of people earn between 8 and 15 million VND.

The total net income of the members of the Board of Directors and the School Council ranges from nearly 18 million to nearly 26 million VND.

Specifically, within this group, the highest earner is the Vice Rector in charge of the school, Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Dang Thoai, with a net income of nearly 26 million VND.

The other two vice principals have total incomes of approximately 21.5 million and 25.5 million VND, respectively.

The chairman of the school board, who is also the Party Secretary of the school, earns nearly 18 million VND.

According to the publicly available list, the highest earner at this school is a professor working in the school's clinical practice management department, with a total income of nearly 30 million VND.

The total income of over 900 faculty members and staff of Pham Ngoc Thach University of Medicine in August was nearly 11.172 billion VND.

According to the 3rd public report for the 2024-2025 academic year of Pham Ngoc Thach University of Medicine, in 2024, the university collected over 430 billion VND in tuition fees and other fees from students; and nearly 35 billion VND from science and technology, net income, contracts, and state budget funding.

Following the disciplinary action against Mr. Nguyen Thanh Hiep, former Rector of Pham Ngoc Thach University of Medicine, including a warning, transfer to the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health , and recent resignation, the university remains without a rector.

Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Dang Thoai, Vice Rector, has been assigned the task of managing and operating the school.
