On the afternoon of October 31, leaders of Cuu Long University received and worked with KIU University of Sri Lanka on cooperation in the field of education and training.
Attending the meeting were Dr. Sajeewanie Liyanaarachchige Chandima Sajeewanie, Vice President of Kiu University.

Speaking at the meeting, Dr. Nguyen Thanh Dung said that the school currently trains 38 majors with nearly 90 undergraduate majors in 4 main majors, including: Health Sciences, Social Sciences and Humanities, Engineering - Technology, Economics - Finance.
For postgraduate training, the school offers 11 master's degree programs and 3 first-level specialized programs (Nursing, Medical Technology specializing in testing, Pharmacology and Clinical Pharmacy).
At the doctoral level, the school trains in 4 doctoral majors including Business Administration, Banking and Finance, Food Technology and Vietnamese Literature.
The Vice President of Cuu Long University informed that in early June, the school had approved in writing to grant 5 full scholarships to Sri Lankan students to study at Cuu Long University.
By August, there were 4 Sri Lankan students studying at Cuu Long University. In the future, the school hopes to cooperate with Kiu University in developing the field of education and training...
At the meeting, delegates from both sides exchanged and discussed the contents that the two units could potentially implement cooperation in the coming time, such as: Exchange of students and lecturers between the two schools; organizing cultural exchanges between the two countries; scholarship exchange programs for students and lecturers between the two schools, establishing a Vietnamese language teaching center in Sri Lanka; the issue of moving towards signing a memorandum of understanding on cooperation in the coming time...
