
According to information from the Department of Agriculture and Environment, the storm completely blew off the roof of a house, damaged 22 meters of ditch and support pillars of the irrigation project in Lo Suoi Tung village, Pha Long commune (Muong Khuong).


In Bac Ha district, floods damaged some items of Nam Luc Hydropower Plant and caused landslides at 3 positive slope points and 2 negative slope points at Km64, Provincial Road 160 (section from Nam Luc commune to Ban Cai commune) with a total volume of about 250 m³ of earth and rock, causing traffic congestion for many hours.
In Kim Son commune (Bao Yen), storms and floods destroyed 4 hectares of agricultural crops, mainly spring corn.

Total damage to houses, irrigation works and agricultural crops is estimated at over 265 million VND. Damage to traffic infrastructure on Provincial Road 160 and at the Nam Luc Hydropower Plant is being counted by authorities.
Immediately after the storm caused damage, local authorities mobilized local forces to support people in repairing their houses and overcoming the consequences. The Department of Construction mobilized machinery and human resources to the landslide sites on Provincial Road 160 to repair and clear the first phase of the route at noon on April 13.
