Heavy rain on the night of May 22 caused the toilet of Xuan Lap Primary and Secondary Boarding School (Lam Binh) to collapse into the stream. According to the school, students had been absent from school for 3 days. Currently, school staff and teachers are transporting utensils and equipment from the kitchen (near the collapsed toilet) to a safe location.
In that situation, the Provincial People's Committee requested the Departmentof Education and Training to direct units and schools to proactively implement measures to ensure the safety of teachers and students when heavy rain occurs. Depending on actual conditions, it is possible to adjust the time and schedule of classes accordingly or let students take time off from school to ensure safety, putting safety first. At the same time, notify students and parents to proactively prevent and combat floods and landslides (if any); parents send notices to homeroom teachers about natural disasters (if any) to promptly coordinate solutions to overcome the damage that occurs...
