The rain will mainly fall from the evening of November 21 to the end of November 22; Warning of heavy rain intensity over 100 mm/3 hours.
From the night of November 22 to the end of November 23, Hue city and the eastern part of the provinces from Da Nang city to Gia Lai will have moderate rain, heavy rain, and locally very heavy rain. Total rainfall is generally from 30 - 70 mm, locally over 130 mm, the rain is mainly from the night of November 22 to the end of November 23.
In other places in the evening and night of November 21, Hue City, Da Nang City, and the Central Highlands will have scattered showers and thunderstorms, with rainfall of 10-30 mm, and locally over 50 mm. During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning, hail, and strong gusts of wind.
Warning: on the night of November 23 and on November 24, in Hue City and the eastern part of the provinces from Da Nang City to Gia Lai, there will continue to be moderate to heavy rain; rainfall will generally be 30-60 mm, locally over 100 mm. From the night of November 24, heavy rain in the Central region will gradually decrease. Disaster risk level 1.
Heavy rains can cause flooding in low-lying areas, urban areas and industrial zones; Flash floods on small rivers and streams; Landslides on steep slopes. During thunderstorms, there is still a possibility of tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind.

At the same time, meteorological experts noted that floods on rivers from Gia Lai to Khanh Hoa are receding. Floods on the Krong Ana River (Dak Lak) and the Dong Nai River (Dong Nai) are rising.
In the next 12 hours, the flood on the Krong Ana River will continue to rise slowly and is likely to peak above alert level 3 by 2.55 - 2.6 m; on the Dong Nai River, it will continue to rise slowly and be below alert level 3. In the next 12 - 24 hours, the flood on the Krong Ana River will slowly fall and be above alert level 3; on the Dong Nai River, it will fluctuate at alert level 2 - 3.

In the next 24 hours, floods on Dinh Ninh Hoa River will continue to decrease and will be at level 2 - 3; floods on Ba River, Kon River, Cai Phan Rang River will be at level 1 to above level 1; floods on other rivers in Dak Lak will fluctuate at level 1 - 2, except for Srepok River which will be above level 3. Widespread flooding will occur in provinces/cities from Gia Lai to Khanh Hoa. There is a high risk of flash floods on rivers and streams and landslides on slopes in provinces/cities from Gia Lai to Khanh Hoa.
Experts warn that the level of flood disaster risk in river basins of Dak Lak and Khanh Hoa provinces is level 3; Dong Nai river basin: level 2; River basins of Gia Lai province: level 1
River floods inundate low-lying areas along the river, affecting activities such as waterway transport, aquaculture, agricultural production, people's lives and socio-economic activities.
In the provinces of Dak Lak, Khanh Hoa and Lam Dong in the past 24 hours (from 13:00 on November 20 to 13:00 on November 21), there was heavy to very heavy rain such as: Song Hinh was 282.2 mm (Dak Lak); Suoi Sung - Hoa Son was 314.8 mm (Khanh Hoa); Da Chais was 5.92 mm (Lam Dong);... Soil moisture model shows that some areas in the above provinces are nearly saturated (over 85%) or have reached a saturated state.
In the next 3-6 hours, the above provinces will continue to have rain with common accumulated rainfall as follows: Dak Lak, Khanh Hoa from 20-40 mm, some places over 60 mm; Lam Dong from 10-20 mm, some places over 40 mm.
In the next 6 hours, there is a risk of flash floods on small rivers and streams, landslides on steep slopes in many communes/wards. Warning level of natural disaster risk due to flash floods, landslides, land subsidence due to heavy rain or water flow level 1; Dak Lak and Khanh Hoa level 2.
Flash floods and landslides can have a very negative impact on the environment, threaten people's lives; cause local traffic congestion, affect the movement of vehicles; destroy civil and economic works, causing damage to production and socio-economic activities.
