Gift levels for people with revolutionary contributions on the occasion of April 30 and September 2, 2025

The President has just issued Decision 689/QD-CTN on giving gifts to people with revolutionary contributions on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day on April 30 (1975 - 2025) and the 80th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam on September 2 (1945 - 2025).

Accordingly, the regulations stipulate that people with revolutionary contributions who are given gifts on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South, National Reunification and the 80th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam include:

People with meritorious services to the revolution who are receiving monthly preferential allowances: people who participated in revolutionary activities before January 1, 1945 to the August Revolution of 1945; Vietnamese Heroic Mothers; Heroes of the People's Armed Forces, Labor Heroes during the resistance period; war invalids, people enjoying policies like war invalids, war invalids of type B, sick soldiers who are receiving monthly preferential allowances; people who contributed to the revolution; people who participated in revolutionary activities, resistance, defending the Fatherland, performing international duties and were imprisoned or exiled by the enemy and are receiving monthly preferential allowances.

Relatives of people with revolutionary contributions: relatives of martyrs receiving monthly survivor allowance; relatives of two or more martyrs receiving survivor allowance; representatives of martyrs' relatives; people who worship martyrs (in case the martyr has no relatives).

The gift level for the two above-mentioned groups is 500,000 VND/person/2 occasions, and will be paid once on April 30, 2025.

According to Official Dispatch 1727/BNV-CNCC of the Ministry of Home Affairs guiding the gift giving of the President on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South, National Reunification and the 80th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, each person will receive only one gift from the President. In case a person is confirmed to be two or more subjects, he/she will receive one gift.
