Ten minutes with Nguyen Filip: Coffee, Quang Hai and his best friend in the same room

Hello Filip Nguyen!

You have been in Vietnam for a long time and played for Hanoi Police for 2 seasons. What are your feelings about life in Vietnam, is it different from Europe?

-Oh yes, basically everything is fine. But there are many things different from life in Europe. In Vietnam the weather is hotter, the traffic is different. However, my life is very good.

How is Vietnamese food?

-It's great. This is one of the best things in Vietnam, and the coffee too. Vietnamese coffee is very good. I've tried all kinds of Vietnamese coffee. In the Czech Republic I only drink coffee once every 3 months. But in Vietnam I drink it every day.

I have been to many places in Vietnam and hope to have time to go to more places and see more beautiful sights.

You have played football for Hanoi Police for 2 years, what makes you feel happiest here?

-I think it is seeing my team stronger and more professional. I like the atmosphere of Vietnamese football, the passionate fans. Vietnamese football is also developing well. We receive support from the fans, that is very happy.

Hanoi Police will meet Nam Dinh Blue Steel in the 2024/25 National Super Cup, how do you rate this match as well as Hanoi Police's chances?

-This is the first match of the season so of course we really want to win, win the cup and I believe that Hanoi Police will win. Of course, Nam Dinh is a very strong opponent, they have won the V-League for the last 2 consecutive seasons. But last season, we defeated them 3-0 away from home so I believe and hope this time we will have a similar result.

Can you compare the two teams, who is the most dangerous player of Nam Dinh?

-It is very difficult because Nam Dinh has just added many new players. We also focus on the whole team, not on one individual. However, this will definitely be an exciting match for the fans. We will try our best to have the best match.

In your opinion, who is the most important player in Hanoi Police?

-This is a difficult question, some players are important for defense, others are needed for attack. However, if I had to choose one name, I think it would be Quang Hai. He can create a connection between the whole team, and Quang Hai is of course an excellent player.

Hanoi Police have won 1 V-League championship and are aiming to win the 2024/25 National Super Cup - THACO Cup match with Nam Dinh.

In Hanoi Police and Vietnam team, who is your best friend and who do you share a room with?

-Quang Vinh, I shared a room with him at Hanoi Police and the Vietnam team. Before, at the Vietnam team, I shared a room with Dinh Trieu, now Quang Vinh.

Do you have any plans for the future? Will you continue playing football in Vietnam?

-I still have a contract with Hanoi Police and will continue for the time being. As for what will happen in the future, I cannot know yet. I really cannot be sure about that.
