Present at the MV launch, Nguyen Hung confided that he composed “What is more beautiful” not based on any personal story, but just wanted to complete a song that everyone could listen to and sympathize with. He also did not think the song would be received so strongly by everyone…
But indeed, when listening to the simple yet profound lyrics: “If the war is over and I haven’t come home yet/ Mom, be happy, you have a heroic son/ Using my youth to sow freedom for the country/ For me, that’s all, what could be more beautiful?”, it’s rare for anyone not to feel moved…

Artists interact with the audience during the MV launch.
Perhaps that is why Tomchat - a music brand with a rich identity in Hanoi decided to make the first official MV for "What's more beautiful", which is also the first MV produced and introduced to the public by Tomchat.
Mr. Nguyen Thanh Hai, representative of Tomchat shared: The MV "What's more beautiful" was made as a tribute and continuation of the spirit of A80, the proud 80-year milestone of the nation. Although the event has ended, that spirit is still present and spread in every Vietnamese person. With this MV, the production unit does not expect views or revenue, just wants to add a voice, a spiritual food to the A80 atmosphere. That is the reason Tomchat chose its own singers and artists to make this special music product.
Different from Nguyen Hung's rustic version, the cover MV "What's more beautiful" opens with a fresh new sound with the gentle, peaceful melodies of the song "Floating duckweed and floating clouds", thereby bringing the audience to many levels of musical emotions.

Musician Vu Quang Trung, Music Director and MV director, said that his first idea when he started to arrange the music was to use the language of music to tell a historical story in five minutes. And he decided to structure the story into three parts:
“Part 1 is about peace , depicting the tranquility of the Northern Delta countryside through the flute and the melody 'Beo Dat May Troi'. Part 2 expresses the spirit of patriotism, sacrifice, struggle..., using rhythmic elements, strings, drums... Part 3 is about praise, connecting generations, combining performances by children with the style of a symphony orchestra...”, musician Vu Quang Trung shared.
In addition, contributing to the freshness of the cover MV "What's more beautiful" is the combination of two singers Tran Tuan Hoa and Trieu Hong Ngoc - two voices with two different musical styles. While Tran Tuan Hoa, a graduate of the Vietnam National Academy of Music, sings simply and in an academic style, Trieu Hong Ngoc, famous since the 2000s, is a singer with the ability to sing a variety of genres, and can break through with pop rock... To best exploit their abilities, musician Vu Quang Trung combined the Pop-Classical style in the MV to create a different impression for the audience.

Although music is not her forte, Trieu Hong Ngoc said she was extremely honored to be featured in the cover MV “What is more beautiful than”. Because from the first time she heard this song, the lyrics of the song really moved the female singer.
As for Tran Tuan Hoa, he sang the song with all his emotions and personal experiences. The male singer said that his father was a veteran. He heard his father tell many fierce stories of war that people born in peace could hardly imagine.
“When singing 'What is more beautiful', there were parts where I had to stop because I was moved. I hope that when listening to this song again, everyone, especially the young generation, will feel the love for their homeland in a very natural way. I hope 'What is more beautiful' will be one of the tight hugs from the past sent to the present, so that no matter where they are, Vietnamese people still feel proud and warm when mentioning the two words: Vietnam”, Tran Tuan Hoa shared.
