The music product MV "Made in Vietnam" invested in and produced by DTAP, a famous music production group in the Vietnamese music industry, was just released on August 6.
Water puppetry scene introduced in the MV. |
“Made in Vietnam” honors the landscape, culture, and people of Vietnam. The lyrics recall the origins, history, and the land and people that “make up Vietnam”. The group combined folk and contemporary music, using traditional instruments such as the monochord, zither, and drums, bringing listeners a sense of heroism mixed with softness.
The MV takes the audience on a journey to explore famous craft villages such as Ha Dong silk, Bat Trang pottery, or cultural and tourist icons in Uncle Ho's hometown of Sen Village (Nghe An), Northwest terraced fields, and Hoi An flower lantern festival (Da Nang).
The team chose the image of the North-South train, inspired by the Lac bird motif on the Bronze Drum, departing from "Dong Son station", ending at Hoan Kiem Lake, Hanoi when the train turns into a dragon, expressing the aspiration to grow and integrate.
Interwoven with the natural scenery are historical elements with the atmosphere of the Bach Dang battle, the Declaration of Independence of the Southern Country, recreated with 3D effects. Art forms including water puppetry, opera or images of fishing village life, fish markets in the Southwest region appear in the video.
DTAP Group said the landmark product marks six years of operation in the music industry. |
The highlight of the MV is the grand scene at the end, featuring 100 people representing many generations and different professions, including female Saigon commandos and youth volunteers. Miss H'Hen Nie, opera artist Phuong Loan, former athlete Anh Vien, and designer Phan Dang Hoang appear.
The three main vocalists come from many generations, representing different regions, including People's Artist Thanh Hoa (North), singer Truc Nhan (Central), and singer Phuong My Chi (South). People's Artist Thanh Hoa was moved when entering the scene, which reminded her of the atmosphere of the generation of youth volunteers "cutting across Truong Son to save the country"...
In the MV, the DTAP music production team chose the brick kiln scene with many meaningful messages: Each of us is like a brick, before becoming strong, we must constantly nurture our will and temper our character. And the ending image of the MV is the image of Vietnam transforming into a dragon, expressing the aspiration to rise in the new era.
