The play "Looking back at a dynasty" (author: Van Trong Hung; director: People's Artist Hoai Hue; adaptation: Doan Thanh Tam) was staged, depicting the character Ho Quy Ly and a turbulent historical period at the end of the Tran Dynasty (late 14th century, early 15th century).

When the Tran dynasty declined, Ho Quy Ly established the Ho dynasty. With many progressive reforms such as: using Nom script instead of Han script, issuing paper money instead of copper coins, reducing land holdings... Ho Quy Ly showed his desire to modernize the country. However, due to lack of consensus and social instability, the Ho dynasty quickly collapsed after 7 years of reign (1400 - 1407), leaving behind many historical lessons.

The play "The River Tells a Story" (playwright: Nguyen Hoai; adapted by Meritorious Artist Nguyen Tan Hao; director: People's Artist Nguyen Hoai Hue) is based on a true story about a revolutionary family in the capital An Nhon, brought to the stage of Bai Choi opera. The play is a deep gratitude of the young generation to the merits of heroic martyrs, revolutionary families and people who sacrificed their lives in the resistance war against the US to save the country.
