Speaking in an interview with ABC News, Mr. Trump said it was possible that the US would get involved in the conflict between Israel and Iran, but admitted that now was not the time for the US to take any military action.
Regarding the possibility of President Putin playing the role of mediator, the US leader emphasized: “He is ready. He called me about it. We had a long conversation.”

As the conflict between Israel and Iran continues to escalate, the US Embassy in Jerusalem has asked all US diplomatic staff and their families to remain in place until further notice. However, citing the risk of rocket attacks, the embassy has also allowed staff living near the Israeli Ministry of Defense in Tel Aviv to voluntarily move to safer housing.
The US diplomatic agency also recommends that its citizens always be vigilant and increase their awareness of personal safety because security incidents such as mortars, rockets, missiles or unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) often occur suddenly and without warning.
In the event of a security incident, the U.S. Embassy may restrict or prohibit diplomatic personnel and their families from traveling to certain areas of Israel, the Old City of Jerusalem, and the West Bank without prior notice.
Meanwhile, according to RIA Novosti news agency, the Russian Embassy in Tehran said on June 15 that it is evacuating its citizens from Iran due to Israeli attacks. Accordingly, the evacuation is being carried out by land, especially across the Iran-Azerbaijan border.
