Reporting at the conference, the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission said that in the first 6 months of the year, the work of protecting the Party's ideological foundation and fighting against erroneous and hostile viewpoints has been implemented synchronously and practically by Party committees, authorities and steering committees at all levels. The social networking sites of steering committees at all levels have been operating more and more effectively, promptly refuting and handling bad and toxic information and orienting public opinion, creating consensus among the people. The functional forces have proactively coordinated to detect and handle according to regulations social networking accounts posting distorted and untrue content. The work of promoting the image of the homeland and the culture of the province has also been promoted, contributing to spreading the beautiful image of the homeland and the country.
The conference discussed and clarified the results achieved in protecting the Party's ideological foundation; shared experiences in orienting public opinion on cyberspace. Members of the district and provincial steering committees also pointed out some shortcomings, analyzed the causes, proposed experiences and solutions to improve the effectiveness of protecting the Party's ideological foundation, and combating and refuting erroneous and hostile viewpoints in the coming time.
Speaking at the conference, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee highly appreciated the results achieved by units and localities, and pointed out the limitations that need to be focused on overcoming. He emphasized that many important events will take place in the coming time, especially focusing on implementing the arrangement and streamlining of the apparatus in the political system and holding Party Congresses at all levels. This is also the time when hostile forces will continue to increase their sabotage activities, especially in cyberspace. Therefore, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee requested units and localities to proactively grasp the situation to promptly detect and prevent propaganda activities against the Party and State.
Regularly check and review information on cyberspace, strictly handle accounts and subjects that provide false information, defame, and incite public opinion to sabotage the leadership and management of Party committees and authorities at all levels. Steering Committee 35 at all levels and units and localities in the province proactively provide timely information when incidents occur to guide public opinion. Strengthen information and propaganda work on the strengths and achievements of the province, each sector and locality in all fields to effectively carry out the tasks of socio -economic development, Party building, ensuring national defense and security...
