Hoang said he was very surprised and happy, not expecting to be double valedictorian in both admission methods this year of the Academy.
“From the beginning, I chose to go to the Academy because my first priority was choosing a major instead of choosing a school. I would soon be able to study specialized subjects, instead of spending a long time studying general knowledge.
Second, I chose to go to the school because of the attractive scholarship policy that will support me throughout my studies.
Third, partly because my brother is in his fourth year of school, that's the reason I decided to choose it," Hoang shared.
Talking about the reason for choosing artificial intelligence, Hoang said that AI has a huge impact on life, so he was determined to learn and understand AI clearly.

Male student from village school, no extra classes but still double valedictorian
It is known that Hoang is a student at Vinh Bao High School, Hai Phong . Hoang's parents are teachers. Since childhood, he has loved math. His academic achievements in primary and secondary school have always been at the top.
In high school, Hoang won a series of awards: 10th grade, first prize in the English math competition in Hai Phong city; 11th grade, second prize in the English physics competition in Hai Phong city. In 12th grade, Hoang continued to win 3rd prize in the city-level math competition.
Sharing his study secrets, the male student said that first of all, one must have a clear study orientation. Once one has decided to enter the natural sciences, one must focus on one of the three subjects: mathematics, physics, and chemistry. In particular, one must be self-disciplined in studying, proactively asking teachers and friends for lessons, or finding materials online.
According to the male student, he only studies with teachers in class, and does not study at any outside centers. "I will divide the knowledge review into stages to have different priorities. For grade 12, I go online, log in to learning community groups to download documents for self-study," Hoang said.
According to Huy Hoang, he balances between studying and extracurricular activities, participating in performing arts, and even playing a little game in his free time for entertainment, but does not get lost in games or social networks.

I have very good self-study ability, only learn from teachers in class, absolutely do not study at any outside centers.
Hoang knows how to set clear goals and persistently pursue them to the end. Not only is he good at science subjects, he also has a quick mind and always seeks ways to solve problems in many different ways.
From grade 10 to grade 12, the male student was always an excellent student in the gifted student teams. In particular, Hoang was also a responsible class officer, actively participating in class activities of the school.
According to the homeroom teacher, in class, Hoang is diligent, modest and willing to share knowledge with friends. The result he achieved with the title of double valedictorian of the Academy of Posts and Telecommunications Technology today is a worthy result of the persistent training process throughout his high school years.
