Ji Chang Wook and the time he caused a 'storm' when he came to Vietnam

Ji Chang Wook once caused a "riot" during his visit to Vietnam in September 2019. At that time, the 8X actor was in Ho Chi Minh City to attend an event taking place on Tran Hung Dao Street, District 1. A few hours before the event took place, a large number of spectators flocked to the event venue. As the evening wore on, the crowd grew larger, and the scene of jostling and pushing caused this section of the road to become seriously congested.
This situation caused the organizers to announce that Ji Chang Wook could not appear for safety reasons. Instead, the Korean actor only attended an event to meet Vietnamese stars at a hotel in District 1. Because he missed the appointment, Ji Chang Wook personally recorded a video to comfort his fans, thanking them for waiting for him and hoping to meet them again at a later time. "I came to Ho Chi Minh City to meet my fans... I had high hopes for today. Unfortunately, the organizers announced that they canceled the event for safety reasons. I am very sad," he shared. This event was so popular that it appeared on Korean and Hong Kong news sites.
Vietnamese audiences are looking forward to Ji Chang Wook's return to Vietnam in the coming days.

After missing an appointment that disappointed Vietnamese fans, Ji Chang Wook attracted attention when he and a series of famous Korean stars: Park Min Young, Yoona, Jung Hae In... came to Hanoi in November of the same year to attend the Asia Artist Awards 2019 (AAA 2019).
