Improving the quality of political theory education to arouse aspirations in the young generation

On the morning of October 30, in Hanoi, the opening ceremony of a political theory training course took place for political theory teachers, staff working in student affairs, and union work at universities, colleges, and intermediate schools in the national education system in 2025.

The training course was organized by the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission in coordination with the Ministry of Education and Training . Comrade Ngo Dong Hai, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission attended and delivered a speech.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, comrade Ngo Dong Hai acknowledged the positive results in recent times in innovating the content and methods of teaching political theory, improving the quality of the teaching staff and the awareness of learners. However, he also pointed out the remaining limitations that need to be promptly overcome in the program, textbook, teaching methods, teaching staff and especially the connection between theory and practical life.

He emphasized the key role of the team of lecturers and teachers of political theory, considering it the key point to innovate methods of imparting knowledge, forming political thinking, and arousing the will and aspirations of the young generation.

He requested the Organizing Committee of the training course to strictly maintain technical conditions and manage students well; Party committees and schools at all levels to create favorable conditions for students to participate fully and effectively; lecturers need to skillfully combine theory and practice, update new viewpoints in the strategic resolutions of the Politburo and the draft documents of the 14th National Party Congress.

The training course took place over 2 days, October 30-31, organized in a combination of face-to-face and online formats with 34 connecting points in provinces and cities. Trainees will study the following topics: Continuing to perfect the theory of the Party's innovation path in the new era of development; The team of lecturers and teachers teaching political theory with the task of protecting the Party's ideological foundation in the new context; The work of educating ideals, ethics, and cultural lifestyle for students today; Ho Chi Minh's creative arguments on socialism and building socialism in Vietnam; Innovating teaching and learning methods of Ho Chi Minh's ideology combined with the application of information technology; Information on the strategic and important policies of the Politburo to contribute to the successful implementation of the two 100-year goals in the era of strong and prosperous development of the nation.
