Improve knowledge about product and goods traceability

On August 9, the Department of Science and Technology (S&T) chaired and coordinated with the National Committee for Standards, Metrology and Quality to organize a training conference on traceability of products and goods in 2024.

Overview of the training conference.

At the conference, more than 200 delegates representing a number of departments, branches; People's Committees of districts, towns and cities; Provincial Farmers' Association; Provincial Cooperative Union; Provincial Business Association; Thanh Hoa VCCI and organizations and individuals applying TXNG and having the need to apply TXNG in the province listened to the reporter of the National Committee for Standards, Metrology and Quality introduce some main contents of Circular No. 02/2024/TT-BKHCN dated March 28, 2024 of the Ministry of Science and Technology regulating the management of TXNG of products and goods; instructions on removing difficulties and obstacles of organizations and individuals in the process of applying TXNG of products and goods... At the same time, they were guided on the following contents: Using product traceability codes, location traceability codes, formats of codes used in tracing; building a TXNG system of products and goods according to national standards; Instructions on product traceability data according to TCVN 13993:2024...

The reporter of the National Committee for Standards, Metrology and Quality introduced some main contents of Circular No. 02/2024/TT-BKHCN.

The training course is an important basis for each unit and enterprise to build and apply a unified product and goods tracking system throughout the province; ensuring transparency of product and goods tracking information on the market. Thereby facilitating state management; protecting consumer rights; helping organizations and business units to make product information transparent, in order to prevent commercial fraud, contributing to penetrating the global supply chain.
