Production and business sectors have recovered strongly, with many growth indicators higher than the same period last year. Total state budget revenue in the first 5 months reached more than 1,593 billion VND, equal to 68% of the provincial estimate and 55.7% of the town's plan.
In new rural construction, the OCOP program continues to be effectively implemented, with 10 more products of 5 entities being evaluated and classified.
In particular, in the first 5 months of the year, the town established 73 new enterprises - a positive signal for the investment environment.

Notably, the town has handed over 134.9 hectares of land to 29 projects, reaching more than 52.5% of the plan. It is expected that by the end of June 2025, it will complete the handover of over 155 hectares at 32 projects, bringing the rate to nearly 61%.
In the field of culture and society, Nghi Son town has promoted the dissemination of important political and cultural events, launched emulation campaigns for good teaching and good learning in the entire education sector. Social security policies have been fully implemented and targeted to the right subjects.

The meeting also passed a resolution approving the final settlement of state budget revenue and local budget expenditure in 2024 of Nghi Son town.

The Secretary of Nghi Son Town Party Committee requested Party committees at all levels, authorities, heads of agencies and units to urgently, resolutely, and with high responsibility in leadership and direction to focus on implementing the goal of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses for poor households, near-poor households, and people with revolutionary contributions, striving to complete before June 30, 2025, ensuring the highest progress and quality.
