Leaders and officers directly involved in fire prevention and fighting and search and rescue work at all levels, sectors and localities participated in the training session.

Attending the event were Colonel Hoang Ngoc Huynh, Deputy Director of the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department, Ministry of Public Security ; Colonel Nguyen Viet Hoang, Deputy Director of Hue City Police Department, along with leaders and officers directly involved in fire prevention and rescue work of all levels, sectors and localities in the city.

On November 29, 2024, at the 8th Session, the 15th National Assembly officially passed the Law on Fire Prevention and Fighting and Rescue, marking an important step forward in terms of awareness, legality and implementation. Colonel Nguyen Viet Hoang, Deputy Director of the City Police, emphasized that the legal system on fire prevention and fighting and rescue has been basically completed and unified. The key issue is how to organize the implementation of the law in a practical and effective manner.

Hue City is transforming itself with the operation of a two-level local government model, the development space is being re-planned; many policies, strategic orientations, and breakthrough solutions are being implemented. Therefore, the leadership and direction of fire prevention and fighting and search and rescue in the coming time need to change in awareness, thinking, and actions of all levels, sectors, and the masses to successfully complete the set goals and tasks.

This training conference was held for 3 days from October 15 to 17 with the following contents: Design appraisal, inspection of fire prevention and fighting acceptance; fire prevention and fighting inspection; fire fighting and rescue work; State management of fire prevention and fighting and rescue by the People's Committee at the commune level; declaration and update of information on facilities under fire prevention and fighting management.

Vocational training contents are also deployed, including: Legal regulations on fire prevention and fighting and search and rescue; knowledge and skills on fire prevention; knowledge and skills on fire fighting, escape and search and rescue.

The conference aims to equip leaders and officials of departments, branches, sectors, and commune-level People's Committees with legal knowledge to clearly understand and master current regulations on fire prevention and fighting and search and rescue. At the same time, raise awareness and responsibility of management staff in directing and organizing the implementation of fire prevention and fighting and search and rescue tasks at agencies, units, and localities in charge.
