The National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting forecasts that on May 8, in the Northwest and the area from Thanh Hoa to Phu Yen, there will be hot and extremely hot weather, with some places experiencing especially intense heat, with the highest temperature commonly ranging from 35 - 38 degrees Celsius, some places above 39 degrees Celsius; low relative humidity, commonly 45 - 50%.

In the Northeast, it is also hot, with some places experiencing severe heat with the highest temperature commonly ranging from 35 - 37 degrees Celsius, some places above 37 degrees Celsius; relative humidity is low, commonly 50 - 55%.

According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, from May 10, the widespread heat wave will end in the North and Central regions.

Weather day and night 8/5:

Hai Duong:

Cloudy, showers and thunderstorms in the evening and at night, sunny in the afternoon. Southeast wind level 2 - 3. Lowest temperature 27 - 28 degrees Celsius. Highest temperature 34 - 35 degrees Celsius.

Northwest:

Hot to very hot during the day, with some areas experiencing extremely hot weather. Scattered showers and thunderstorms in the evening and at night. Light winds. Thunderstorms are likely to produce tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind. Lowest temperature 25 - 28 degrees Celsius, with some areas below 24 degrees Celsius. Highest temperature 35 - 38 degrees Celsius, with some areas above 38 degrees Celsius.

Northeast:

Cloudy, hot during the day, some places are very hot. In the evening and at night there will be showers and thunderstorms in some places. Southeast to south wind level 2 - 3. During thunderstorms there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind. Lowest temperature 26 - 29 degrees Celsius, in mountainous areas some places below 24 degrees Celsius. Highest temperature 34 - 37 degrees Celsius, some places above 37 degrees Celsius.

Provinces from Thanh Hoa to Hue:

Hot to very hot during the day, with some places experiencing extremely hot weather. Showers and thunderstorms in some places in the evening and at night. Southwesterly winds at level 2-3. Lowest temperature 26-29 degrees Celsius. Highest temperature 35-38 degrees Celsius, with some places reaching over 39 degrees Celsius.

Provinces from Da Nang to Binh Thuan:

Cloudy, sunny during the day. The North has hot and very hot weather. In the evening and at night, there will be showers and thunderstorms in some places. Wind from the south to the southwest, level 2 - 3. Lowest temperature 25 - 28 degrees Celsius. Highest temperature in the north of this area ranges from 35 - 38 degrees Celsius, some places above 38 degrees Celsius; in the south, 33 - 35 degrees Celsius.

Central Highlands region:

Sunny day, scattered showers and thunderstorms in the late afternoon and evening, scattered showers and thunderstorms at night. Light wind. Lowest temperature 22 - 25 degrees Celsius. Highest temperature 31 - 34 degrees Celsius, some places above 34 degrees Celsius.

Southern region:

Sunny day, hot in some places. Particularly in the Southeast region, there is clear heat. In the evening and at night, there are showers and thunderstorms in some places. Light wind. Lowest temperature 24 - 27 degrees Celsius. Average highest temperature 32 - 35 degrees Celsius, some places over 35 degrees Celsius.
