According to the source, through measures to strengthen air defense forces, NATO seeks to fill a deadly gap in the system to respond to the threat from the so-called "Russian aggression."

The source also said that the issue will be discussed at the NATO Defense Ministers' Conference in Brussels (Belgium) on June 5./.

The move comes as Dutch Prime Minister Dick Schoof announced the dissolution of the government after Geert Wilders, founder and leader of the far-right Freedom Party (PVV), decided to leave the four-party ruling coalition over disagreements over immigration.

The PVV's departure from the ruling coalition marks a new phase of political uncertainty for the European Union's fifth-largest economy, as far-right parties expand their influence across the continent.

The latest crisis for the Dutch government comes weeks before the country is scheduled to host the North Atlantic Treaty Organization summit on June 24-25 in The Hague./.
