Russia chooses Phu Yen, Dak Lak as the setting for 10 episodes of reality documentary

The Department of Cinema (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism) has just granted a license to Feature Film Joint Stock Company I to provide filming services using locations in Vietnam for a foreign organization, Mart Production Company Limited (Russian Federation), to produce 10 episodes of reality documentaries, each episode 120 minutes long. The script name of the film is Vuzivality - The snake hunters, screenwriter: Irina Ionova, nationality: Ukraine. Filming time using locations until May 31 in Dak Lak and Phu Yen.

This is a realistic documentary that records the journey of discovery and overcoming obstacles and challenges of characters who are real people in life, people who have great influence on society. Through that, they reveal themselves and realize a journey to overcome challenges as well as difficulties in life. The interesting point of the film is the combination of exploiting the language of documentary films with investment in context, filming materials using high-quality cameras, vivid images. In addition to on-site sound, the film will be post-produced in the studio, using special effects... to create the best visual effect for the audience.

The film is about a group of 6 famous people from many different fields (music stars, actors, bloggers, magicians... foreigners) who will come to Phu Yen and Dak Lak to participate in filming scenes. These characters are put into different settings (forests, mountains, seas, plains...) to perform challenges, face difficulties and complete assigned tasks.

Among these 6 characters, there is one character who has the identity of “Snake” but the other 5 do not know. The mission of the Snake character is to prevent his teammates from winning and not let them discover his true identity. The ultimate goal of the remaining 5 characters is to determine who among them is Snake through the clues they have obtained.

These clues are given after a team wins a challenge. The clues are information that reveals or hints something about the Snake character that they have to decipher. If the Snake character makes it to the end without being exposed, he wins the episode and receives the final prize of 1 million rubles. If he is found, the money goes to the remaining players.

This is a multi-part reality documentary, a version that this unit has produced and achieved success in the Russian Federation. Therefore, they wish to expand this version to countries around the world with unique contexts to create many products with diverse indigenous cultures. Phu Yen and Dak Lak are among the first destinations in Vietnam that the crew chose. These two localities with many unique natural landscapes promise to attract many viewers when watching the film.
