From May 10 to 14, a fleet of ships from the Pacific Fleet of the Russian Navy will visit Da Nang City, to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and the Russian Federation.
Leaders of Naval Region 3 and Military Region 5 Command welcomed the commander of the Russian Navy fleet at Tien Sa port, Da Nang.
The fleet visiting Da Nang includes the corvette Rezkii, the corvette Hero of the Russian Federation Aldar Cidengapov and the medium tanker Pechenga with a total of 262 officers, sailors and staff. The delegation is commanded by Colonel Anciferov Alexey Vitalievich.
Accordingly, the main activities within the framework of the visit include a welcoming ceremony, seeing off the delegation, laying wreaths at the Da Nang City Martyrs Memorial, paying courtesy calls to leaders of the City People's Committee, the Naval Region 3 Command and the Military Region 5 Command.
At the same time, the delegation will visit , have cultural exchanges with officers and soldiers of Navy Region 3 and conduct joint training.

This visit is of great significance, contributing to strengthening the traditional friendship and mutual trust between Vietnam and the Russian Federation, while affirming the positive role and image of Da Nang in the international arena.
The year 2025 marks the 75th anniversary of the establishment of Vietnam-Russia diplomatic relations (January 30, 1950). This relationship was upgraded to Strategic Partnership (2001) and Comprehensive Strategic Partnership (2012).
In addition, with the support of the Consulate General of the Russian Federation in Da Nang, the cooperative relationship between Da Nang and Russian localities is increasingly expanding, opening up many new opportunities in economy, culture, education and people-to-people exchange.
The People's Committee of Da Nang City affirmed that it is always ready to act as a bridge, creating conditions for the two sides' naval forces to continue expanding cooperation, training, and sharing experiences, in order to contribute to ensuring security, safety and freedom of navigation at sea.
