Di Linh District Social Policy Bank deploys tasks for 2025

(LĐ online) - On January 15, the Board of Directors of the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies (BĐB NHCSXH) in Di Linh district held a conference to summarize 2024 and deploy tasks for 2025.

According to the report at the conference, in 2024, the Board of Directors of the Social Policy Bank of Di Linh district closely followed the direction of the District Party Committee, the District People's Committee, the Board of Directors of the Provincial Social Policy Bank and the Provincial Social Policy Bank to direct the implementation of policy credit programs and implement policy credit programs according to Resolution No. 111/2024/QH15 dated January 18, 2024 of the National Assembly associated with socio -economic development and new rural construction in the locality. The focus is on balancing the local budget to transfer entrusted capital to the Social Policy Bank to lend to poor households and other policy beneficiaries.

By December 31, 2024, the Di Linh District Social Policy Bank had achieved 103% of the capital mobilization growth target; achieved 100% of the assigned outstanding loan growth plan; the debt collection rate reached 99.4%; 16/19 communes had no overdue debt. The results of the 2024 policy credit quality assessment of 19 communes, towns and the Transaction Office were classified as Good; maintained orderly transaction activities at the Commune Transaction Point, ensuring absolute safety for people and property.

In addition, implementing policy credit programs in a timely manner, in the right season in 2024. This has created conditions for 3,341 poor households and other policy beneficiaries to invest in production, overcoming economic difficulties. From the policy credit capital in 2024, it has contributed to reducing the poverty rate of the whole district from 1.98% to 1.17% (a decrease of 0.81% corresponding to 333 households escaping poverty), the rate of near-poor households from 3.05% to 1.77% (a decrease of 1.28% corresponding to 526 households escaping near-poverty) by the end of 2024. Thereby, contributing to ensuring social security, socio -political stability, creating jobs and building new rural areas in the locality.

In addition to the achieved results, the activities of the Social Policy Bank of Di Linh district in 2024 still have some shortcomings. Specifically, the capital management of some Savings and Credit Groups in handling debts that have left the locality is sometimes not timely. As of December 31, 2024, there are 23 cases of customers leaving their place of residence with an amount of VND 1,004 million (of which the principal is VND 859 million, interest is VND 145 million).

Based on the orientation of the Provincial People's Credit Fund Board of Directors and the local socio-economic situation, entering 2025, the Di Linh District People's Credit Fund Board of Directors sets a number of specific targets such as: Capital mobilization exceeds the assigned plan; capital entrusted from the district budget increases by 10% or more compared to the actual entrusted capital of the previous year; completing 100% of the assigned outstanding loan growth plan, striving for outstanding loan growth in the year to reach 10% or more. The ratio of overdue debt and frozen debt is ≤ 0.1%/total outstanding debt, of which overdue debt is ≤ 0.02%/total outstanding debt; no appropriation debt occurs. The whole district maintains 17 communes without overdue debt and strives for 1 more commune without overdue debt.

Conference delegates

Strive for the rate of Savings and Credit Groups classified as good to reach over 98%, with no Savings and Credit Groups classified as poor; the quality of the District-level Trust Associations to reach 100% classified as good; the quality of the Commune-level Trust Associations to reach 95% classified as good; and no Commune Associations classified as average or weak. The results of the assessment of transaction quality at the Commune Transaction Points, the quality of policy application in the entire district, communes and towns are all classified as good.

In addition, the debt collection rate is over 97%; monthly interest collection is from 99% or more. The rate of customers using Mobile Banking services and maintaining balances at the Social Policy Bank is from 50% of loan customers or more. Maintain and improve the quality of operations of 10 model commune transaction points. Strive to have 13 commune transaction points meeting the standards of Model Commune Transaction Points by the end of 2025.

At the Conference, delegates also discussed and proposed solutions to effectively implement the targets set for 2025.

On this occasion, the People's Committee of Di Linh district awarded Certificates of Merit to 12 collectives and 25 individuals with outstanding achievements in 2024.
