Tourism products and events continue to be upgraded and improved in quality. Many tourism products with high creativity and cultural and historical values associated with the characteristics of the province have received positive responses from people and tourists. Notably, the Ninh Thuan Culture, Sports , Tourism and Cuisine Week 2025 has created a strong media wave, contributing to affirming the brand "Ninh Thuan - Land of convergence of different values".
Comrade Nguyen Van Hoa, Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, said: In order to carry out the tasks of 2025, from the beginning of the year, the unit has proactively advised the Provincial People's Committee to issue and effectively implement specialized plans such as: Plan to develop Ninh Thuan tourism to become a key economic sector in 2025; Plan to implement solutions to stimulate tourism in Ninh Thuan province in 2025; Plan to organize Ninh Thuan Culture, Sports, Tourism and Cuisine Week in 2025; Plan to implement Official Dispatch No. 34/CD-TTg dated April 10, 2025 of the Prime Minister on promoting tourism development, ensuring double-digit economic growth rate...; At the same time, issue documents to strengthen management and temporarily arrange floating restaurants for food and beverage business in Vinh Hy Bay area, Vinh Hai commune (Ninh Hai); Report on the results of the review and strictly handle tourism business activities that do not comply with regulations...; thereby, contributing to effectively stimulating tourism demand.
Regarding the management of tourism activities, especially the guidance and reminders to tourist areas and spots in serving guests to ensure safety conditions, especially during holidays and Tet, have been strongly implemented. Currently, the province has 70 tour guides (including 30 domestic tour guides, 40 international tour guides) and 12 travel service businesses (2 international tour business units, 10 domestic tour business units). The state management of accommodation service business is focused on, with regular reminders and instructions for establishments to make statistical reports on the software http://thongke.tourism.vn; notify the time of starting business or changing the owner, business name, name of tourist accommodation establishment; procedures for recognizing the class of tourist accommodation establishment. Currently, the province has 255 accommodation establishments and 5,110 rooms. Inspection, examination, handling of violations and settlement of complaints and denunciations are carried out regularly.
To continue attracting tourists to Ninh Thuan according to the target set for 2025 (150,000 international visitors; 3.45 million domestic visitors; total revenue from tourism activities of 4,000 billion VND), the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism is focusing on synchronously implementing solutions. In particular, continuing to strengthen communication work to raise awareness of all levels, sectors and the whole society about developing tourism into a spearhead economic sector associated with environmental protection. Coordinate with departments, sectors and localities to strengthen inspection and supervision of tourism business management activities in the province, focusing on inspecting and strictly controlling businesses operating illegally; focusing on removing and resolving difficulties and problems of tourism businesses to ensure timely, strict, effective and in accordance with regulations. Coordinate with the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism to implement Plan No. 2045/KH-BVHTTDL dated May 9, 2025 of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism on inspecting compliance with legal regulations and ensuring the quality of travel businesses, tourist accommodation establishments, tourist areas, tourist spots, vocationaltraining establishments in the tourism sector and tourist guides in 2025 in the province.
Coordinate with the Center for Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion, the Tourism Association and related units to organize tourism promotion activities of the province; coordinate to organize tourism training courses in 2025 for businesses and units operating in tourism services in the province, contributing to improving the quality of services at areas and destinations, helping to attract tourists, developing tourism to truly become a spearhead economic sector of the province. Continue to investigate and survey tourism resources in Ninh Thuan province in 2025; advise on assessing the minimum conditions of technical facilities at accommodation establishments in the province.
