Tay Ninh Education Department is ready for 'National Day of Taking Children to School'

GD&TĐ - Along with the whole country, schools in Tay Ninh province are preparing for the Opening Ceremony of the 2025-2026 school year, which will take place simultaneously on the morning of September 5.

In the 2025-2026 school year, the Opening Ceremony has special significance when it is held in conjunction with the 80th Anniversary of the Founding of the Ministry of National Education (now the Ministry of Education and Training ) according to a unified scenario throughout the province.

Synchronous, solemn and meaningful script

According to the plan of the Department of Education and Training of Tay Ninh province, the ceremony was organized solemnly, briefly, suitable for each age group of students, ensuring safety, economy, avoiding ostentation and formality.

Schools are required to carefully prepare facilities, arrange adequate equipment and transmission lines for online connection, and have backup plans for bad weather or power outages.

This year, the program is divided into two distinct parts. The live ceremony at educational institutions will take place from 7am to 7:50am.

Then, from 8:00 to 9:30, all delegates, teachers and students attended the program to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Ministry of National Education and the opening of the new school year organized by the Ministry of Education and Training, broadcast live on VTV1 channel.

Schools performed the flag-saluting ceremony and sang the national anthem at the same time as the main bridge at the National Convention Center and listened to the speech of General Secretary To Lam.

The Department of Education and Training directs schools to pay attention to landscape, environmental sanitation, repair facilities and coordinate with social forces to mobilize scholarships to support students in difficult circumstances.

Bustling atmosphere, ready for "National Day of Taking Children to School"

The atmosphere of preparation for the opening day at many schools, from primary to high school in Tay Ninh, each place has its own nuances, but all aim at the same goal: to create a truly meaningful, safe and economical "National Day of Taking Children to School".

Responding to the general direction of the Department of Education and Training of Tay Ninh, the preparation atmosphere is taking place vigorously at schools.

At Tran Van Giau High School for the Gifted (Long An Ward), preparations for a large-scale ceremony are being rushed to completion. In the 2025-2026 school year, the school will welcome 892 students, including 283 grade 10 students.

Ms. Le Thi Tuong Van, Vice Principal of the school, said that the ceremony will start at 7am on September 5 at the school's entertainment and event complex. The live ceremony will be brief with main rituals such as welcoming new students, reporting achievements and awarding scholarships.

"From 8am, the entire school will switch to watching the ceremony online, connecting with the program celebrating the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Ministry of National Education and the National Opening Ceremony, listening to the speech and the opening drum beat of General Secretary To Lam," said Ms. Van.

Meanwhile, at primary schools, the atmosphere was warmer and more intimate. Recorded at Tan Dong Primary School (Tan Dong commune), with a total of 16 classes at 3 school locations and 410 students. The biggest highlight of the ceremony was the welcoming of 63 students entering grade 1 for the first time.

The program started at 7am with a welcoming ceremony for the students, followed by thoughtful instructions from Principal Le Van Bao.

According to Mr. Bao, on this occasion, the school also coordinated with local authorities to award 6 scholarships, each worth 500,000 VND to students in difficult circumstances. Tay Ninh Provincial Youth Union also presented the “White Shirt to School” program to the students.

"Similar to other schools, after the ceremony in the school yard, teachers and students will watch the nationwide online program. Not only Tan Dong Primary School but all other schools in Tay Ninh province are ready for a solemn and meaningful opening ceremony, promising to start a new school year 2025-2026 with many successes and victories," Mr. Bao affirmed.

The Opening Ceremony of the 2025-2026 school year will take place from 7:00 to 9:30 a.m. on September 5 at all educational institutions in Tay Ninh province.

The program is divided into two parts.

Part 1 (7am- 7:50am): Live program at educational institutions (Welcoming new students, Principal's report, awarding scholarships...).

Part 2 (8:00-9:30): The whole province connects online to the program of the 80th Anniversary of the founding of the Ministry of National Education and the opening of the new school year at the National Convention Center on VTV1 channel.
