On the afternoon of October 23, the People's Committee of Kim Ngan Commune ( Quang Tri ) confirmed that Ms. Do Thi Hong Hue, Vice Principal of Kim Thuy Primary Boarding School, was present at the school late in the morning of October 23, even though it was temporarily suspended to serve the verification of the case of 40 students suspected of food poisoning.
The appearance of Ms. Hue made many parents and students disagree. According to the People's Committee of Kim Ngan Commune, when Ms. Hue appeared, a large number of parents gathered in the office of this female vice principal. The authorities came to find out the reason and Ms. Hue said that she came to submit her medical records after being discharged from the hospital and to get the documents.
In many clips posted on social media, dozens of parents were present in front of Ms. Hue’s office to protest. Despite Ms. Hue’s defense, the parents shouted in unison, demanding Ms. Hue leave the school.

In response to the overwhelming response from parents, the local authorities asked Ms. Hue to leave the school to calm the parents and students, but Ms. Hue refused to leave. Many parents then took their students out of the school to protest. The authorities then made a record of the incident. It was not until early afternoon on October 23 that Ms. Hue left the school.
As Thanh Nien has reported many times, on September 26, after breakfast, 40 students at this school were poisoned and had to be hospitalized. The incident became even more noisy when a clip was recorded of Ms. Hue allegedly preventing the students from being taken to the emergency room... Test results from the Pasteur Institute in Nha Trang showed that there were food samples contaminated with bacteria that caused poisoning. Ms. Hue is the person in charge of managing this boarding kitchen. Regarding the incident, under pressure from parents, the Kim Ngan commune government has suspended Ms. Hue twice (the most recent extension decision was issued yesterday, October 22, also lasting 15 days).
