Vietnam Family Day 2025 "Happy Family

Within the framework of the festival, there will be many activities such as: Photo exhibition "President Ho Chi Minh and Party and State leaders care for, build and develop Vietnamese families"; thematic exhibition "Family culture in the community of Vietnamese ethnic groups, Family culture of the ethnic communities in the Central Highlands"; propaganda painting exhibition "Propaganda for implementing civilized lifestyle"; reading corner with children with the theme "Family reading - connecting love"; mass art festival "Family joy"; exchange program to meet typical faces "Keeping the fire of happiness"...

Deputy Director of the Department of Grassroots Culture, Family and Library Khuat Van Quy said that this year, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism assigned the Vietnam Cultural and Arts Exhibition Center to preside over and coordinate with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Dak Lak province and related units to organize the Vietnam Family Day in 2025. Along with that, provinces and cities also simultaneously deployed many rich and diverse forms of propaganda to aim at noble goals for the benefit of each family associated with social benefits, honoring the profound human values of each Vietnamese family.

Previously, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism also issued two important documents to organize and implement this meaningful event: Decision No. 1445/QD-BVHTTDL dated May 20, 2025 on the visual propaganda plan at the Ministry and on mass media; Decision No. 1609/QD-BVHTTDL on organizing "Vietnam Family Day 2025".

Visual propaganda activities at the Ministry were also carried out by the Department of Grassroots Culture, Family and Library by hanging billboards around the Ministry with the content: Celebrating Vietnamese Family Day (June 28); Happy family - Prosperous nation; Family values are the foundation for building the national values.

Along with visual propaganda, the Department of Grassroots Culture, Family and Library also coordinated with the Culture Newspaper to propagate on mass media many contents about the history and meaning of Vietnamese Family Day.

This year's Vietnamese Family Day has the theme "Happy Family - Prosperous Nation" to raise awareness of all sectors, levels and the whole society about the position and role of Vietnamese families in the era of national development. Thereby, to honor the good traditional cultural values of Vietnamese families; to create a spread of standards, ethical values, and good traditions, contributing to raising and changing the awareness of all sectors, levels and the whole society about the value of family, thereby taking practical actions to build a prosperous, equal, progressive and happy family.

Comrade Khuat Van Quy also added that since May 2001, the Prime Minister has decided to choose June 28 every year as Vietnamese Family Day, to spread the sacred values of the family and inspire the responsibility to cultivate happiness and build a civilized lifestyle in every home.

After 24 years of organization, June 28 has become a meaningful traditional day, deeply engraved in the hearts of every Vietnamese person. This is an occasion to awaken the spirit of returning to home and origin, thereby cultivating beautiful feelings and spreading the noble human values of the nation. Along with the development of the country, Vietnamese Family Day has become a unique cultural festival in all regions, where love is honored and sharing is spread. The commemorative activities are increasingly rich in content and diverse in form, attracting the enthusiastic participation of a large number of people.

On this occasion, from the central to local levels, all levels, sectors and organizations organize many practical activities to honor Vietnamese families, and at the same time promote better family care.
