Artist Kieu Phuong Loan said she was shocked when she re-watched the Cai Luong play that was filmed at HTV in 1988, when she was just 34 years old.

"I myself have not seen the play "The Heart of the Sea" by composer Ha Trieu and Hoa Phuong again since it was filmed by HTV. Today, watching it again, I was moved to tears" - artist Kieu Phuong Loan said.
Participating in this play are famous artists including: Thanh Thanh Hoa, Chi Hieu, Hung Minh, Bao Quoc, Hoai Truc Phuong, Thanh Thuy. "Among the artists participating with me, artists Thanh Thanh Hoa, Hoai Truc Phuong, Chi Hieu have passed away. So when I watched this play, I cried because I remembered my colleagues who devoted their whole lives to the stage" - artist Kieu Phuong Loan emotionally said.

In fact, there are many different versions of this famous cai luong script, however, for the small screen audience, the acting talent of the above generation of artists when filming at HTV, are the most loved.
Artist Kieu Phuong Loan plays Thanh, the daughter of a woman who, due to circumstances, had to give her child to a rich man to raise and she became the nanny to look after her child. When Thanh grew up and was about to marry a rich man, he knew that the nanny was in the boss's favor and intended to fire her, but Thanh did not know that she was his biological mother.

In her youth, artist Kieu Phuong Loan was a beauty of the stage. She attended the acting training course of the drama department of the Saigon National Conservatory of Music and Drama (now the Ho Chi Minh City Conservatory of Music).
Her classmates included artists such as Huynh Thanh Tra, Mai Thanh, Tu Trinh, My Chi, Thoai Mieu, etc. After graduating, with the support of her family, she founded a theater troupe and specialized in playing leading roles. When the country was unified, she joined the Kim Cuong Drama Troupe, famous for the play "Tania" directed by Meritorious Artist Doan Ba.
In the 90s of the last century, she collaborated with the Song Be 2 Opera Troupe, acting with the late Meritorious Artist Vu Linh. She and Vu Linh were a pair of actors and actresses loved by the audience through many plays, the most famous of which was "The Legend of Love" by playwright Nhi Kieu.
"Now that the play "The Heart of the Sea" is being re-performed, I can only play the role of a nanny, a background for the young actors. I love this classic cai luong work because of its profoundeducational value, carrying many messages about maintaining filial piety towards parents" - artist Kieu Phuong Loan expressed.
